2010 Caldecott and Newbery Award Winners!

American Library Association announced the winners of the Caldecott and Newbery Awards this morning. 

The Caldecott Medal Award Winner:

The Lion and the Mouse by Jerry Pinkey

 

The Newbery Medal Award Winner:

When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead 

 

The Book Works is proud to recognize that Tammy Black, our prescient coordinator who runs the Girls' Book Groups at our store, chose the Newbery Medal Award Winner When You Reach Me last month as their book.
